With a little late here is Raine version 0.35, at last available! News have been announced in advance in the last month's editorial, so, if you don't remember go immediately there to read them again or look it up in the emulator manual.

There is to point out the presence of a renowned guest on the Zzap!Raine Message Board: I'm talking about Gordon Houghton, ex chief editor of Zzap!64, the real magazine; Gordon joined the Zzap! team from issue 36 (April 1988) until issue 50 (June 1989). During this time he was made chief editor after Julian Rignall left after issue 39 (July 1988).

After eight years of no new Zzap!'s, a new issue has been released: no. 107, March 2002, available only as free PDF; in the Zzap!Raine Project Info page there is a link to it, if you want to see it.

With regards to Raine emulation, this month's games are mostly sequels of classic Taito games such as Bubble Bobble 2, Puzzle Bubble 2 and Arkanoid Returns. Seeing the enormous success of their predecessors, it's difficult to repeat the exploit but, probably, only Arkanoid Returns isn't up to the other games of its series. In addition to these titles there is Darius, technologically innovative game for that time.
