Editorial

With a little late here is Raine version 035, at last available! News have been announced in advance in the last month's editorial, so, if you don't remember go immediately there to read them again or look it up in the emulator manual.
There is to point out the presence of a renowned guest on Zzap!Raine Message Board: I'm talking about Gordon Houghton, ex Zzap!64 editor, the real magazine; Gordon joined the Zzap! team from issue 36 (April 1988) until issue 50 (June 1989). During which time he was made editor after Julian Rignall left after issue 39 (July 1988).
After eight years of no new Zzaps, a new issue has been released: n° 107, March 2002, available only on the web; in Zzap!Raine info there is a link if you want to see it.
Concerning Raine emulation this month's games are mostly sequels of classic Taito games, such as Bubble Bobble 2, Puzzle Bubble 2 and Arkanoid Returns. Seeing the enormous success of their predecessors, it's difficult to repeat the exploit, but, probably, only Arkanoid Returns isn't up to the other games of its series. In addiction to these titles there is Darius, game technologically innovative for that time.
